Huipil

A Huipil is a loose-fitting tunic, usually made of two or three rectangular pieces of cloth, joined with stitches, ribbons or strips of cloth. It’s a piece of clothing characteristic to the indigenous communities throughout the various regions of Mexico and its characteristics usually indicate the weavers' ethnicity and community.
