Joining Forces For A Collective Impact
Traces
Traces is a collaborative project between TuYo and Cantyuee Chom, an Amuzgo representative, with the goal of gathering, documenting, and preserving ancestral weaving symbology and its rich meanings. Through inter-regional knowledge exchange and encounters, the project aims to elevate textile heritage, foster appreciation for symbology and weaving, and pay tribute to craftsmanship. By bringing this collective consciousness to life, Traces seeks to ensure the preservation and celebration of this cultural tradition.
